Duo-Lite Specialist Float Rod
This has to be one of the most versatile all round float rods for targeting specimen fish that is available today. Ideally suited for both still and running waters, this rod has been specifically designed for targeting big tench, bream, chub and barbel with a delicate presentation. Although its action is very crisp it is amazingly forgiving ensuring that it is extremely safe when handling large fish on light lines and small hooks.

For stillwater work large loaded wagglers can be punched out further than ever against strong headwinds on reasonably light line. It is also ideal for fishing down the edge with a top and bottom set up where maximum pressure needs to be applied to stop runaway tench from getting to the snags.

The Specialist Float really comes into its own for long trotting as it has an incredible line pick up at range but the tip still absorbs that initial contact shock with a big fish. There will be times when you need to fish against the far bank for chub where feeding the ‘bow’ is essential for perfect presentation. The incredible line pick up guarantees that you will miss very few bites.

The Specialist Float is a very light rod and can be comfortably held all day whilst utilising both centrepin and fixed spool. It is simply a delightful rod to use.
