This super light carbon blank has a tip action that is stiff enough to give a good swimming action to your lure yet is soft enough to absorb an aggressive take from a hungry predator. The rod balances beautifully when fitted with a multiplier reel and will work perfectly whether you are fishing with lures, spinner baits, buck tails, crank baits, soft plastics or jerk baits. We'd recommend using 80lb braid to avoid crack offs when distance casting.
