Dean Macey is one of the UK’s top athletes, a
commonwealth gold medal winner and our best contender for a decathlon
Olympic gold in Beijing in 2008.
He is also a passionate angler and
puts the same determination, devotion and energy into his fishing as
he does his athletics.
Dean, although only 29, has an enviable list of
specimen fish under his belt including, carp to 37lb 8oz, roach to over
3lb, and chub to 7lb to name but a few, and his Sky T.V series ‘on
course’ was enjoyed by us all. Dean currently writes for the UK’s top
angling paper - Angling Times.
