Nutrabaits Essential Oils

Our range of essential oils is intended to allow you to add a very specific, and in most cases totally unique, attraction to your baits. Many of our customers regard them as a vital part of an entire attractor package rather than as a single source of attraction. In particular those anglers who wish to attach a label to their long term bait plans rely heavily on essential oils to bring that all-important uniqueness to the food label, thus ensuring that it cannot be copied and thence overloaded, either by design or by accident, by someone else trying to get in on their bait. Like flavours, essential oils are designed to be used at an optimum level. In some cases this may be as low as one drop per 500g, while others can be used at twenty times that amount. We urge you to keep strictly within the recommended upper and lower limits shown on the label. Our field testers have worked long and hard to ensure that you don't put your bait at risk by overloading the level of essential oil and, given that they are so ultra concentrated, as little as one drop extra might be the difference between success and failure.

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Clove Terpines 20ml

The first of two Clove Oils in our range, Clove Terpenes is ideally suited to the carp angler who is looking to put together the ultimate long term food bait and consequently is looking for a highly effective low level attractor to go with it. Use either on its own or in combination with Geranium Terpenes, 3-4 drops of each being the most effective inclusion level.

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Madagasca Clove 20ml

Bill Cottam's number one choice for cold water attraction, used in combination with either Guava Nutrafruit or Caramel Cream Elite. Half the suggested dosage of the oil with 3-4 mils of flavour being the suggested level for a 500g mix. Madagascar Clove Oil can be used with a whole host of base mixes but Ener-vite Gold, Hi-Nu-Val or Four Seasons Mix certainly come high on the list. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Juniper Berry 20ml

Another cold weather biggie that combines superbly well with a wide range of glycerol based flavours, Cream Elite, Caramel Cream Elite or Strawberry Nutrafruit being our favourites. A lovely fruity smelling, popular attractor that has a proven track record with big fish over many years. A superb essential oil to use with either Hi-Nu-Val, Four Seasons Mix or one of our two Ener-vite mixes.

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Ginger 20ml

Not the most instant essential oil we know of by any means, but Ginger Oil is a superb long term bait label used either on its own or in combination with any cream type flavour. Extracted from the roots of the Jamaican ginger plant, this oil, not surprisingly, boasts a rich gingery smell both in the bottle and in the finished bait. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Geranium 20ml

Buds from the Geranium plant are first dried and then ground before this fabulous smelling oil can be extracted. Geranium Oil is one of the best known of the essential oils and certainly one of the most effective, having produced numerous big fish from a wide variety of waters throughout Europe since we initially released it way back in 1987. Use either on its own or in conjunction with Cream Elite or Cream Cajouser. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Geranium Terpenes 20ml

The food source in essential oils is triaglycerol and the terpenes version of an oil is a richer source of triaglycerol than the oil itself. This particular version of geranium is distilled from the leaves of the plant and has a very distinctive smell. Ideally suited to either long or short term baits. An absolute cracker of an essential oil! 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Black Pepper 20ml

This is a Major League carp puller that must rate as one of the all-time classic carp bait attractors. Ideal for use at any time of the year and in any type of base mix, Black Pepper Oil has firmly established itself as a favourite among many Nutrabaits users over many years. Distilled from the berries of a climbing plant that can only be found in the West Indies, it has one of the most distinctive smells imaginable. An absolute classic! 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Cinnamon 20ml

The ever popular Cinnamon Oil is distilled from the leaves of a Sri Lankan laurel-like tree and is light brown in colour. Ideal for either of our Ener-vite mixes or in the Total Hemp Mix, this attractor has an uncanny knack of selecting the bigger fish. We recommend the addition of our natural emulsifier at 7ml per 500g for cold water use. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Bergamont 20ml

Another firm favourite with many Nutrabaits users, Bergamot Oil is distilled from the rind of an orange-like fruit and it is actually the flavour used in the production of Earl Grey tea. A beautiful, smooth smelling essential oil that is often included in the classic Strawberry, Cream and Bergamot combo. Highly effective throughout the 12 months of the year in the base mix of your choice. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Euclyptus 20ml

Another famous essential oil that is distilled from the Australian tree that bears the same name. Not a huge selling oil, but a very consistent one. Used either on its own or in conjunction with the fruit or cream flavour of your choice. Our tip is to try 3-4ml of Tropical Nutrafruit with 4 drops of essential oil in Ener-vite or Ener-vite Gold. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Spanish Red Thyme 20ml

Way back in 1987 we field tested Thyme Oils from several different origins and this one, from sunny Spain, stood head and shoulders above the rest. Over a decade later it remains a very popular addition to the Nutrabaits range of essential oils and like so many of our oils, it has a habit of being big fish selective. Use either on its own or in combination with Caramel Cream Elite. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Peppermint 20ml

Distilled from the leaves of the Peppermint plant, this is an unsung biggie that many Nutrabaits users quietly do very well with. Not the most instant essential oil we have ever come across, but if you are in the market for a long term bait label and you fancy being that little bit different, this might just be the one for you! 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Spearmint 20ml

If you fancy a bait that smells like your favourite brand of chewing gum, we strongly suggest you go for 8 drops of Spearmint Oil, 3ml of Tutti-Frutti Nutrafruit and 4 drops of Arouser. Failing that, Spearmint Oil can be used as the sole attractor in a wide variety of base mixes to great effect. We suggest you add 7ml of our Natural Emulsifier per 500g for winter use. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Nutmeg Special 20ml

A very distinctive smelling essential oil and yet another unsung biggie that has a terrific record with the better sized fish. Use either on its own or in conjunction with Peach, Plum or Blackberry Nutrafruits. Nutmeg Special is ideal for cold weather use and has gained a reputation for being very instant. Use it with total confidence. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Mexican Onion 10ml

This is one of the oils we sell in dropper bottles inside sealed plastic containers - and not without reason. It is distilled from the onion bulb itself and we have to be honest with you and tell you that it absolutely stinks! Having said that, the track record of this oil is truly amazing. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. We have two suggestions: 1) use it either on its own or in conjunction with Cheese Elite; 2) make your baits when the missus goes shopping!

The infamous Garlic Oil is another seriously smelly oil and another one that is supplied in smell retardant plastic pots. Use either on its own or in combination with Cheese or Cream Elite. Garlic Oil is without doubt one of the carp world's best ever winter smells. The missus will love it too... NOT!! 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Spanish Sage 20ml

Another very popular essential oil that is extracted from the leaves of a Spanish mint-like plant and has hints of both sweet and spice rolled into one. A very versatile oil that can be used to great effect in any of our mixes, although it has proved particularly effective in our Ener-vite base mixes. Another very consistent all-year-round winner. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Cassia Terpines 20ml

One of the most instant of all our essential oils and one that has an uncanny knack of pulling big commons, particularly when you combine it with 15ml of liquid molasses. A very rich essential oil that has a similar smell to Cinammon, but with a bit more kick to it. Terrific in any of our mixes at any time of the year but add emulsifier for winter use. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Ylang Ylang 20ml

The popular Ylang Ylang Oil is distilled from the flower petals of the Malaysian Ylang plant and has, over the years, accounted for huge numbers of big carp from a wide variety of venues across Europe. Use either on its own or in conjunction with Saffron Elite, or Violet UTCS. Another all-year-round biggie that is both instant and ideal for long term baiting campaigns. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Madagascar Basil 20ml

Extracted from an Indian herb plant, Madagascar Basil Oil is only really suited to long term baiting campaigns and has done particularly well at low level in either The Biollix, The Total Hemp Mix or The Four Seasons Mix.If you want to combine it with a flavour, look no further than either Cream Elite or Tropical Nutrafruit. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Lemon 20ml

Many lemon oils are very acidic to the taste and consequently are not ideal to use as long term attractors. Our Lemon Oil is the highest quality available and leaves no bitter or sharp after-taste in the finished bait. The distinctive Lemon Oil is extracted from the rind of the lemon and is the number one choice for many anglers who are looking for that something a little bit different. Ideal for use in Hi-Nu-Val or Four Seasons Mix. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Grapefruit 20ml

Another essential oil that is extracted from the rind of the fruit and that retains a very distinctive smell and taste both in the bottle and, more importantly, in the finished bait. Ideal for both long and short term applications and suitable for low level inclusion in practically any base mix. A good bet for winter use in conjunction with Fruit Super Sweet and/or Fruit Cajouser. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Coriander 20ml

A lovely smelling oil that can be used in a wide range of base mixes and throughout the 12 months of the year. It boasts a slightly fragrant smell that originates from the coriander seeds from which is it extracted. If you want to combine Coriander Oil with a flavour we suggest Violet UTCS or Saffron Elite.

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Parsley 20ml

If your chosen venue has seen virtually everything, then the very distinctive Parsley Oil may just be the one for you. Totally different to most other attractors on the market but a Major League carp attractor that can be used in any type of base mix. We suggest the addition of our Natural Emulsifier for cold water use. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Cumin 20ml

Very similar in smell to Caraway Oil, but in our opinion considerably more effective as a carp bait attractor. Cumin Oil has a tropical, fragrant yet spicy smell and is extracted from the seeds of an Egyptian tree. Ideal to combine with a whole host of Nutrabaits flavours including Strawberry, Tropical or Cranberry Nutrafruits or Wonderfruit UTCS.

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Asafoetide 10ml

Another smelly one that is packed in pong retardant plastic tubs. 'The Special' as it is sometimes referred to, is an outstanding carp attractor that combines superbly well with Black Pepper Oil. 11 drops of Pepper with 1 drop of Asafoetida being the usual combo. This is the essential oil that has the dubious distinction of being the one that nobody can pronounce.. Assa-fa-teeda!!

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Fennel 20ml

One of the better known of the essential oils and certainly one of the most effective. Its smell is not dissimilar to that of Aniseed Oil, although our field testing suggests that Fennel is far superior in the carp catching stakes. Very effective at any time of the year either on its own or in combination with N-Butyric Acid; 3 drops of each being the most effective level. 

Nutrabaits Essential Oils Jaffa 20ml

This is the Orange Oil we use in our highly rated Chocolate Orange ready-mades, and over the years it has established itself as a very successful carp attractor in its own right. A great cold water bait smell, you can also combine it with Cream or Caramel Cream Elite or Toffee or Honey Elite. A very instant essential oil that usually requires no pre baiting whatsoever.
