ABOUT CARBONACTIVE


Sentient Float Rods
Using the correct guides, reel seat and handle is very important when designing a rod, but the real key to a good rod is the design and construction of the blank. The new CarbonActive Sentient range still retains the 'non-lockup actions' from the first CarbonActive.
These new rods were initially suggested by Tom Pickering who felt there was a gap in the market that needed to be filled. Whilst many manufacturers have been concentrating on rods suitable for match sized carp, few have also focused on more traditional match rods suited to light lines..

All of the models have the CarbonActive 'non lock-up' action designed for optimum fish-playing and the correct amount of casting power, lower in the blank, for accurate, long distance casts.

 SENTIENT SUPER FLOAT RODS
This premium range is made up of individually designed float and feeder rods, all intended to do a very specific job. Whether it be the lightweight 11' Feeder or the extremely powerful 13' Power Float, the message here is that the rod has been made to do that job exclusively. The feeder rods all have carbon tips and the float rods have spigoted top joints for added 'crispness' and a slim profile.

Featuring a spigoted top joint for an even crisper action the 13' Super Float comes with soft touch reel seat and luxurious black blank. Designed for a wide range of" waggler and stick" work this ultra slim model will deal with most anglers requirements. Line rating 2 to 5lb
