Shimano Speedmaster Commercial Rods

The commercial range of rods have built up something of a cult following over the last few years, and are now used by many of the top UK and European match anglers. They are designed to produce the best possible action, which they achieve by having additional tapered extensions (not parallel softer extensions), and one piece quiver top sections. 2011 sees the introduction of two new ranges - a revamped Beastmaster and the flagship Speedmaster range. Each rod has been refined over countless pre-production samples to produce a finished product perfectly suited to its intended style of fishing. Feeder Rods – Red Rod Band The Commercial range of feeder rods have built up a loyal following, and these three models for 2010 look set to be no different. The range starts off with quite possibly the ultimate commercial angler's tool - the iconic 9-11. Not only does this rod have the multi length facility, but it also features a one piece top section (2 Supplied with Beastmaster, 3 with Speedmaster), which gives you an unsurpassed playing action once a fish is hooked.

The 11' length is Steve Ringer's rod of choice when it comes to method feeder fishing on small commercial waters. Drop the rod down to 9' and it becomes the ideal tool for those tight swims in summer, and a perfect winter bomb rod in a match where every fish needs to count.

The 11'6 feeder has been specifically designed for the angler who wants a little bit more in terms of distance than the 9-11 can offer. The 11'6 also has a bit more in terms of back bone, which means that it can handle Carp to double figures with ease.

The 12'6 Beastmaster commercial distance feeder has been designed specifically for the long range method. This tactic is now becoming the norm on a number of different larger venues, and is one rod which you can certain of helping to go the distance... and more. The Speedmaster comes at 12ft with a ringless 1ft extension that can be added while fishing just to get that extra yardage if needed.
