The Tyrnos features a gear ratio of 5.0:1 and is built for power thanks to its 4 A-RB bearings, oversized gears, die-cast machined aluminium handle and ergonomic rubber power grip.

The Tyrnos II benefits from many of the same features but also has the ability to swiftly change from high to low gear and then back again thanks to its 2 speed gearing - a massive advantage in many off shore angling situations. Both reels are part of the metal series whose construction ensures that all parts are perfectly aligned to aid performance and long term reliability.
