Shimano Catana Specimen Mono

Made in Japan to a much higher specification than standard mono's. Catana is set to be a firm favourite with specimen anglers and in particular carper's! This mono-filament is very robust and abrasion resistant and will out perform many respected lines around at the moment.

Featuring a triple treatment process with UV Catana specimen mono is very durable even after long exposure to the effects of sunlight and water submersion.

 Catana has a uniform accurate diameter coupled with an extremely high wet knot strength. It is incredibly supply due to it's low memory and as a result longer more accurate casting can be achieved with less effort.

When fishing near snags or mussel infested bars a carp angler must have complete confidence in their line delivering the goods. The loss of a fish due to the line / conditions is never funny, not just because it might be your P.B. but for environmental reasons too - tethered fish, water fowl, and so on are all of importance.
