Is it a nylon? is it a braid? Well neither actually, this specially designed reel line has three-core construction and bridges the gap between braid and nylon monofilament. With a stretch factor of approximately 12%, it is half that of normal nylon monofilament which in turn means: Instant long range communication of rod to the terminal end of the tackle improving bite detection plus increased sensitivity playing fish at range yet without the savagery of braid which has only around 7% stretch. Technium Carp can be used with regular rods since the adequate elasticity is sufficient enough to prevent hook pulls when big fish take unexpected savage lunges.
This eliminates the necessity for softer rods to compensate for the fierceness of braid's minimal stretch. Hi abrasion resistant qualities unlike braid that has a very poor track record in snags and sharp underwater obstacles such as rocks and mussels etc. Due to it's low diameter and low memory, longer casts can be achieved with less effort, e.g. 15lb Technium Tournament Carp will outcast most normal 12lb nylon monofilaments affording the carper increased prospects when playing very big fish in snaggy waters.
